This prompt is pretty old but I found it very interesting. So, here goes nothing.
It was the most advanced weapon ever built, yet no one was afraid of it. It had been around for over 50 years. For now, it was a weapon of mass destruction, yet no one was afraid of it, anymore. Of course when it was built those on whom it was used were frightened. Of course they did not know it was coming, but it came, and when it did, they were terrified. Those who created it perhaps were not as fearful. Those who created it, those who controlled it, had nothing to fear. Fear seems to never have been integrated in their hearts. Nor was sense integrated in their minds for that matter. Instead something terrible ran through their veins. Something that is inside all of us, only some of us chose to turn the other cheek, look inside our hearts, dig deeper, look beyond, and do what is right.
It is the most advanced weapon ever built (that I know of at least), yet no one is afraid of it. Why? Because it cannot be used. If it is it won’t be WWIII, no, it’ll be the end of humanity. Although I wonder sometimes, has the end of humanity already arrived? Not physically I mean, but mentally, morally. I hope not. It’s not too late to change, it never is.
It was and is the most advanced weapon ever built, and we are all afraid of it. Can you guess of what I speak?
